Winona County and the Winona ham radio operators are to be commended for =

the outstanding professional communication services that they =

are providing to the Winona County residents during the flooding crises. =

Many municipalities would never ask the armateur radio operators for =

help for fear that it would somehow prove their inability to cope with a =

crises of this magnitude. Winona County and the Winona hams have =

provided the ARES/RACES national organization with a model example of =

how local government and the ham radio groups can come together to =

provide their communities with outstanding communications in a time of =

dire need. My hat is off to all who have made this great service =

available to their community. This tragedy is a super example of the =

service local ham radio groups can provide in a time of need at a =

moments notice. Keep up the outstanding job W0NE!
