Hi All,

Based on all the positive feedback for a program to post real time 
weather observations along the lines of Skywarn, I started working on 
both the client and sever.  I didn't' get as far along as I would have 
liked, but it is now at a point where observations should be able to be 
posted.  More importantly, you'll at least get a visual idea of the 
overall concept.

To give the program a try, please download the installation file from:

http://n3fjp.ky1v.com/WXSpot.exe

This is a VERY early BETA.  There is a lot more that needs to be done on 
both the client and server, but I won't be able to get back to it now 
for a couple weeks and it is far enough along to get some feedback and 
suggestions.  In the mean time, please be patient.  I won't be a bit 
surprised if we have frequent server crashes early on.  Of course, all 
observations should be considered fictitious at this time.

Some of the things left to do include:

- Recording log in data (right now, user name and password aren't recorded)

- Administering a test before allowing posts of observed data

- Verifying poster is authorized to do so

- Lots of testing
