[WARC] WARC DEV COMMITTEE -- Meeting Focus Topic

Hi Les,
I agree that if we can get the existing membership up that the
additional funds will come along. I also agree that it is not up to the
developmental committee to o it all--more to identify action items and
set priority/sequence/responsibility.
The idea of a guest night--with a strong program to support it--sounds
good to me.
No problem on setting some standard Subject lines--if I can remember
them..... On the two other lists in which I participate (IC-703 &
SKCC), we just take the Subject lines as they are established by the
initiator. Seems to work OK.
The SKCC list (Straight Key Century Club) is VERY active--15 to 30
messages a day (or more) depending on whether a "club" event is in
progress (e.g., sprint, higher-speed night, etc.). The latest really
active thread has to do with the fact(?) that ARRL has shifted direction
on the mode/bandwidth regulation question and is suddenly supporting a
direction which may threaten CW even more in the future. Very active
the past day....
