Jim makes some good points..
If you do the math 3 HF stations X 24 hrs + VHF station equals a whole lot of
operating hours...
Divide those hours by the number of hours any given person would enjoy operating
and you need lots of folks (or multiple shifts for everyone)
Problem as I see it though is having a GOTA station as the rules state "any 2A
or more" club station may have a GOTA station.
I can't really see a loop hole in the rules to have say a 1A HF station not to
mention a "free" VHF station.
Let's think about this some more and give everyone a chance to provide some
comments.
Obviously with the great WX today and folks busy at work and such if the call
had to be made about what to do for FD 2007 based on the response so far today
it would not happen.
