Hi Red,
No, I did not see the bulletin--was off on a business trip and had my
hands full.
Thanks for the offer to help with experimentation. I haven't been able
to predict a time when I can work on it. Last night I was able to
complete components for one of the antenna configurations I would like
to try out. Am off the the Winona club breakfast this morning then am
working with Les K0BAD on getting certificates out from our Great River
Shakespeare Festival special event station in July.
Some of the Winona hams are going to work with Tom KC9ECI with one of
Tom's NVIS set-ups after breakfast, but I don't know what frequencies
they will be using. If I can, I might try to get home before they are
finished in Winona and see if we can contact. Sorry I don't know which
freq or exactly what time (approx 10:00 AM). Your location would be
ideal for testing as the club is trying to get full local coverage into
the valleys and holes for emergency communications. (Rushford was a
problem.)
I'm off for exercises, shower, set up antenna, and breakfast!
Best 73,
Len KC0RSX
