[WARC] RARExpo Hamfest Plans

I plan to drive to the hamfest next Saturday.  I can take three riders 
(four, if three of them are the size of grandkids).

New hams (licensed within the past 12 months) get first priority on the 
seats.

Would it be a good plan for whomever wants to go to meet for early 
breakfast about 7:00 AM at McDonald's West and then leave for Rochester 
so as to arrive at the hamfest about 8:30?  This timing would let 
exhibitors to be fully set up by the time we arrive but be early enough 
that the good stuff wasn't all sold already.

I probably would return before lunch--depends on how big the hamfest 
turns out to be and how much time we spend drooling over stuff.  A 
definite plan could be firmed up during the week if necessary.

The most important objective here is to HAVE FUN!

PS.  It seems that the admission fee to the hamfest is $10.  Not too 
bad, considering....

PPS.  I plan to monitor the 835 repeater after WEPNET for awhile tonight.
