Phil,

I do not think your criticism tonight was just or appropriate.

The useable part in the criticism was "there is too much chatter." Without
your specifying the nature of the chatter and stations that were chattering
then we are left with our own subjective definition of chatter. We do not
know what actions offended you and we do not know who offended you.
Therefore we got no actionable information out of your comment. The comment
about "Listen to the twin cities nets to know what is professional" doesn't
help very much either. There are many twin cities nets and various
frequencies. If you want us to listen to these nets then you must be
specific. What nets? What Freqeuncies? Under what conditions? Again
that comment had no actionable information. Unless you are willing to get
specific then your comments in my opinion are best lneft unsaid. Unless
your comment can provoke or invoke a positive action then I do not want to
here them.
n

Please communicate to me or any other station in the skywarn callout
actionable concerns. I can understand if you do not give them to me but if
you do, I will consider them, weight them and possibly act on them.

You have a good radio station. You could have been net control. If you
think that you can make a positive contribution to the situation, I encourage
you to participate.

My efforts tonight were to get people thinking about helping the hams to the
south. I hope that you will become part of that effort if our help is
needed.
