My point all along is that the club isn't a mythical organization that
can
make anything happen. It's all about what the members are willing and
interested in doing. The club can't make people be interested in
participating in Field Day.
So I disagree with you about the club being interested. The club does
nothing
without its members. It's the members of the club that are interested or
dis-interested. And it appears these days that the club members aren't
interested in doing much. That is why I opposed "the club" organizing a
big
field day this year. The club members seem to already have spoken and
they've
said that they are not interested in doing much for Field Day.
