[WARC] testing echolink

Les,
I worked on my Echolink connection late Saturday. No luck yet. It was
working in a TC hotel room a month ago but not here at home.
The breakdown seems to be in the ISP DSL modem (Ace Communications
Group). The computer firewall and wireless router port set ups seem to
be OK now. I don't have any modem documentation and it is not listed on
any help website I can find. Can't find the ip address to access it,
and I think Acegroup may have a non-default password on it anyway.
I phoned Ace Communications tech service last night, and they say that
the modem is an unusual model and they are opening up a job ticket to
help me crack the code. But they may not get the right technical people
on it until Monday.
Long story, but the upshot is that I probably won't be able to take
advantage of of the Echolink path to WEPnet tonight--BUT I REALLY WOULD
LIKE TO DO IT IF I COULD!
Thanks for making Echolink available.
73,
Len
