Hi Russ,

Thank you for the offer to do the tower work.  That is very thoughtful 
of you.  Maybe if you could make a trip up the tower early on to assess 
condition of antenna mount, stabilizer, and antenna, it would be very 
helpful.  I am sure there are other items to be checked also, and your 
inputs would be appreciated.  I would be glad to help with ground crew 
work if possible.

On the cost estimate, Gary gave Jim and me a much lower price than in 
the spreadsheet.  While Gary said that he did amateur radio work at 
cut-rate prices, I was amazed at how reasonable his fee was for us.  He 
could never make ends meet in the long run at those daily rates.  With 
the limited number of days a year suitable for antenna work and the 
costs of equipment, training, and other expenses to be recovered, the 
hourly rate would have to be "up there".

Thanks again for your offer to do the tower work.  That option is going 
into the spreadsheet.
