Next time I'm at the LEC I'll bring my laptop w/APRS sw and use my cell phone as a modem to access the Internet and monitor APRS via an I-gate.  (I have an unlimited data plan).

Thanks to all who participated in yesterdays SKYWARN net. Your reports were 
execllent!  There were a flood of reports from many sources and we were 
able to confirm and refute many based on your observations.

It is interesting that many reports that come from other services lack 
detail and to some extent reliability.  We have high confidence in the ham 
reports and use them as the gold standard when comparing reports from other 
sources.
