[WARC] October WARC Program

The October Winona Amateur Radio Club Program will feature a =

presentation on software defined radio by Clare K0NY.  It will be at the =

Winona County Courthouse Annex on Thursday, October 16 beginning at 7:00 PM.

Clare indicated that he is still developing details of the program, but =

he recently acquired a Flex-5000A SDR and is learning "hands-on" what it =

is all about.  Hopefully he will be able to share some of what he has =

learned with us.  More details regarding the program will be publicized =

later.

It might be helpful to review the basics of software-defined radio =

before the program if you can.  The October 2008 issue of QST had an =

article about SDR.  In addition, here are some helpful websites:
