[WARC] WARC Power Pole Project Summary

The WARC project to support the transition to Power Pole connectors has 
gone well.  The period for submitting orders closed yesterday with a 
total of 12 orders including one large group order from the Hiawatha 
Valley Club in Red Wing.  Orders were also received from hams in Eau 
Claire and La Crosse.

Thanks to all who ordered Power Poles through this project.  Maybe this 
improvement will make us more effective the next time an emergency arises.

Jim KB0THN informed me that all the components were placed on order with 
suppliers as of yesterday.  We will be sure to inform anyone who 
submitted orders when the items ordered are available.  For those who 
selected direct shipment, orders will be shipped as soon as available.

A special thanks again to Jim KB0THN for making the connectors available 
at OEM cost through his company, APRS World LLC.  Thanks also to Russ 
N0QK for the donation of Molex connectors for the adapters which were 
part of the cable set.
