Well, the Winona Daily News finally published the news release regarding 
the club-sponsored General Class licensing course, but it was edited 
pretty heavily.  Here is a more complete version.

The Winona Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring a General Class licensing 
course to run from early October to mid-November.  The course will be 
conducted Monday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 PM beginning on October 6 
and ending on November 10.  A licensing test session is being planned 
for November 17.  The course and license testing will be held at the 
Bluffview Montessori School, 1321 Gilmore Avenue Winona, MN. As usual, 
licensing exams will be available for other Technician and Amateur Extra 
also.

The course will include a copy of the ARRL General Class License Manual 
and other materials.  The three instructors for the course are ARRL 
registered instructors.  Cost for the course will be $24.95 for the 
License Manual to be paid at the first course session. In addition, the 
current cost for VE license testing is $14.00 to be paid at the time of 
the license exam.
