VHF Contesters all across the USA send in their stories with
pictures to this link: http://www.arrl.org/contests/soapbox/
You do not have to be an ARRL member to enjoy this. It's open
to anyone.

If you select 2009 ARRL January VHF Sweepstakes, you
can view at least 3 pages worth of write-ups. Of note on the
1st page is the write-up from Badger Contesters very own
KB9C/R. This is Bruce, W9FZ.

There's lots of pictures you can click on, and plenty of
write-ups from both big guns and little ones. Fixed stations,
multi-ops and rovers, as well. You can definitely learn more
about contesting by reading these Soapbox stories.

If you care to read about other past contests, here's the
ones you want from the drop-down menu. Anything with
"Sept VHF QSO party", "UHF Contest", and "June VHF
QSO party" are the contests to concern yourself with.

     Enjoy!
     73,
     Todd KC9BQA EN63 40 N of Milwaukee
     50 thru 2304

PS: I will resume the 144.240 net on Feb. 25th. Until then,
hope you folks can get together and keep the party going.
