Last year I requested and received some great comments about the
club?s Field Day experience. Once again it would be great to hear
from you about this year?s experience hoping that we could include
your comments in the July Hamgram. If you havent done so yet there
is a little time left to get your comments to me and still make this
months issue of the Hamgram. For those of you not familiar with the
Soapbox it is merely your thoughts or impressions of the event
typically in couple of lines or less of what you enjoyed about the
event. The ARRL web page at:
http://www.arrl.org/contests/soapbox/ has many great examples of
the Soapbox relating to many operating events and contests for the
last several years.

Examples of comments you may wish to include could range from the
thrill of working some particular station, hearing one of your friends
callsigns on the air from across the country, to comments about how
well your antenna worked etc etc.

I think it would be great to hear about the event from your
perspective and share with the other folks that missed your shift or
the event entirely. It would be really nice to hear from those of you
new to Field Day or have been licensed less than five years as I know
there were a good number of you at the site this year.

Just send your comments to me directly and I will forward the
completed list to Les for publication.

Please send your comments to me by July 6, 2009 to kf0q at hbci.com

73,
Matt
