I will be hosting the 144 SSB nets tonight, as usual. Make sure
your 2 meter rigs and antennas are working FB and getting out,
in advance of the upcoming contests.

144.240 at 7:15-8:15pm is probably your best option. With the
144.240 net I like to use this page to give real-time updates:
http://dxworld.com/vhfqso.html Feel free to "raise your hand" there
or to QSY with other net stations to get more contacts in your log.

The difference between the early 144.240 and later 144.250 net
is this: 144.240 *specifically* targets areas to my SW, W, NW
and N. I don't look toward Milwaukee/Chicago or to my east with
the 144.240 net. The 144.250 net has most of its check-ins from
the MKE/CHI area, but I do look a full 360, anyway, just in case.

Looking very forward to the July CQ WW VHF Contest next
weekend -- July 18/19. This one is 6 and 2 meters only, and very
enjoyable. Also looking forward to the Aug UHF on Aug 1-2.
I will be opping most of both contests. Hope to work many of
you, as time permits.

Keep up with the Badger Contesters reflector, if you don't
already. There should be significant rover activity in N WI and
perhaps into the UP of MI. N9WU, K9JCZ and WD9EXD
have all emailed to say that they plan on activating various
NC and NE WI grids on July 18-19.

Or you can always tune into http://www.kc9bqa.com
If it's about V/UHF within a few hundred miles of Wisconsin, I'm
talking about it there. All about nets, improving activity and
contesting on VHF/UHF.

Also look forward to seeing some of you at the CSVHFS
Conference in Elk Grove Village, IL, on July 23-26.
