[WARC] Reminder - Licensing Testing Session Tomorrow Evening - March 2

The Winona Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring a license testing session on 
March 2, 2009 at 7:00 PM local time.   The location is the Bluffview 
Montessori School, 1321 Gilmore Avenue, Winona, MN.  Talk-in on 146.640 
(no tone).

Tests will be offered for all classes of license: Technician, General, 
and Amateur Extra.  Walk-ins are encouraged.

The fee for license testing is $14.00 and is payable in cash or check at 
the time of testing. The fee covers the session and allows testing for 
all three classes of license if a person wishes to test for more than 
one class. License tests must be passed in sequence--Technician, 
General, and Amateur Extra.  If a test is failed, a retest at the same 
session will require an additional $14.00 fee.

Persons interested in taking tests must bring two forms of 
identification including one photo ID, their Social Security number, and 
appropriate fees.   Persons seeking upgrades must also bring their 
ORIGINAL FCC license and a copy of the license or a CSCE for tests 
recently passed.  An electronic calculator with functions such as 
square, square root, log/anti-log, and trigonometric functions is 
permitted.  Any memories on such calculators must be demonstrated to be 
"empty" at the beginning of the test.
