After a seven year struggle, Gary passed away early this morning at the
Winona Hospital. 

 

Gary was Club President in the mid-1990s. He started the Saturday morning
breakfasts, the "CQ Coffee," the Friday night dinners as well as encouraging
member participation in Emergency Management activities. During his time of
activity, club membership climbed into the 90s. 

 

Gary also got shot down on some of his proposals, but because of him, a
great deal was accomplished.

 

At this time, funeral arrangements have not been completed. They will be
announced later.

 

Gary and I have been friends since 3rd grade. When it comes to "Good Guys,"
there are few greater. I will miss him.
