[WARC] Reminder: NWS La Crosse Open House - Thurs.Sept.10 - 2-7 p.m.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows about our upcoming *Open House =

on Thursday September 10th, from 2-7 p.m.*  (rain or shine) Please help =

us spread the word.

We'll have demonstrations of our AWIPS (Advanced Weather Interactive =

Processing System) work stations, severe weather examples, information =

about river monitoring, exhibits with emergency communications, and =

hopefully Doppler radar tours.

We are also conducting a food drive for the Hunger Task Force of La =

Crosse during our open house so non-perishable food items will be =

collected at the door.  This is completely optional though.
